To qualify for Route 2 eligibility for the Cancer Tumor Registrars (CTR) certification exam, students must complete an NCRA-approved formal education program. There are four (4) prerequisites in this program, all of which must be completed successfully prior to taking any of the specialty courses.

If you are not interested in sitting for the CTR exam and would like to start the CRM specialty courses without us verifying your prerequisites, complete and submit the form below.

PART 3: Opt Out Agreement  

By selecting "I Agree" below and submitting this Opt Out Form to AHIMA, I acknowledge that I am foregoing the prerequisite requirements for the Cancer Registry Management (CRM) formal education program. After submitting this form, I will be allowed to enroll in and complete the CRM specialty courses, however AHIMA has no obligation to provide me with a transcript to qualify for Route 2 eligibility for the Cancer Tumor Registrars (CTR) certification exam. If I choose to pursue the CTR certification exam in the future, I understand it is my obligation to contact the National Cancer Registrars Association (NCRA) directly to determine eligibility requirements.
